2020 Bible Worker Training

This transforming training opportunity is available to:

  • Church members who are interested in learning how to do effective Bible work and reach souls for Christ!
  • It is designed to assist you in using your gifts and talents to reach your family, friends, neighbors and co-workers with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Seminar topics include:

  • Presenting The Everlasting Gospel
  • Ministering to Broken People
  • How to Connect with People Interested in Studying the Bible
  • ABC’s of Giving Effective Bible Studies
  • Leading People to Make Decisions for Christ
  • Handling Objections and Challenges
  • The Journey of Discipleship

Speakers include: Shawn Shives, Tim Bailey, John Kent, Lillian Torres and several experienced Bible Instructors.

Attend the Training

Cost of $280.00 includes powerful training plus:

  • Dorm room accommodations
  • 15 Meals
  • Registration fee
  • Materials

Cost is $155.00 for training without lodging.

Register by February 10, 2020.

Registration and check-in begins on Sunday at 1:00 pm in the Home Economics room at Blue Mountain Academy, 2363 Mountain Rd, Hamburg, Pa.

  • No meals on Sunday
  • Monday-Thursday include breakfast, lunch and dinner
  • Friday includes breakfast and lunch

Vegetarian meals with vegan options. (Please indicate vegan in notes when registering.)


Bible instructors are an important part of the Faith for Family Initiative. Each summer, Bible instructors, along with lay  members who want to learn more about sharing the gospel, experience a training-intensive to prepare them for their year-long role partnering with local churches, connecting with people seeking to learn more about God, building relationships, and sharing Bible studies as members plan for their Faith for Family evangelistic outreach. After the series, Bible instructors continue to study with people in the community and connect them to the local church where they can build relationship with members and with God.
