Frequently Asked Questions

What time do I need to arrive on October 22?

Please arrive between 8:00 am and 9:00 am so you have time to register and be in your seats by 9:15 when preliminaries begin.

What do I need to bring?

A prayerful spirit and your delegate book (if you requested to receive a PDF book and pick up a paper copy, we will have that for you at registration.)

Will meals be provided?

Yes, there will be a continental breakfast served 8:30-9:15 am. Lunch will also be served.

Can I bring a spouse or friend?

Because of space, our main meeting room will be reserved for delegates only throughout the session. We will provide a live stream to the Appalachian Room for those who attend but are not delegates. We understand you may not want to travel alone.

Will I receive mileage?

Yes, keep track of your mileage. You will be given a form to report it on and will receive the IRS volunteer mileage rate.

How long will the session last?

The length of session depends on the amount of discussion on topics. We want each delegate to have the time to ask questions or make comments, yet want to be respectful of the time each of you are giving. Our hope is to end by mid-afternoon.

Do I need to stay until the end of session?

We ask each delegate to stay until the end. We will be voting on things throughout the day and your input and vote make a difference.

How should I dress?

Please dress comfortably. While we’ll attempt to keep a comfortable temperature in the room, you may want to bring a sweater in case the room is cool for your liking.
