Adventists believe in a Trinity of three persons–the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. God made salvation possible when Jesus, the Son, came to earth as a baby in Bethlehem and lived a sinless life in accordance with the Father’s will. when Jesus was crucified for the sins of the people and arose from the dead on the third day, victory was won for everyone. When Jesus returned to heaven following His resurrection, He gave the Holy Spirit to serve as our Comforter and Counselor. He promised to return to earth a second time to complete His plan of salvation to take His people to heaven.
Seventh-day Adventists are Bible-believing Christians who base faith, hope and the future in Jesus Christ. The name “Seventh-day” indicates our adherence to the biblical Sabbath, while “Adventist” means we anticipate with joy the promised return of Christ.
SE NAN KI JAN NOU FE ESEYE VIV LAVI NOU
Nou kwe ke Bondye konsene ak bon jan kalite a nan lavi imen, e ke tout bagay--fason nou ap viv, manje, pale, panse, youn trete lot, ak pran swen mond lan bo kote nou–se yon pati nan plan Li. Fanmi nou, pitit nou yo, travay nou, talan nou, lajan nou, ak tan nou tout enpotan pou li.
Every Sabbath, from sunset Friday to sunset Saturday, Adventists enjoy a 24-hour Sabbath rest from work and school to join family and fellow believers in worship, fellowship, prayer, and communion with God. Adventists believe the Sabbath has been given by a gracious God to help further develop a relationship with Christ.
