The Adventurer Club Ministry (ages 4-9) and Pathfinder Club Ministry (ages 10-17) are church-centered spiritual-recreational-activity programs designed for young people. The Clubs appeal to these age groups because their programs feature activities that meet their needs and interests. Much of these activities are built around physical action. It is filled with action, adventure, challenge, group activities, and provides opportunities for the development of new attitudes and skills that produce personal growth, team or community spirit and a sense of loyalty and respect for God, His Creation, and His church.

Both Club Ministries are sponsored by the Seventh-day Adventist Church and welcome children and youth of all religious backgrounds, as well as children with no religious affiliation.

Pam Scheib

Pam Scheib

Pathfinder and Adventurer Director

Pam Scheib began her Pathfinder & Adventurer ministry in 1999 when she said, “I do” to Michael.  She had no idea how those two little words would change her life!

Since then, she has served as a Pathfinder Club staff member, Club Director,  and Area Coordinator, becoming the Pennsylvania Conference Pathfinder & Adventurer Ministries director in 2010. Pam became a Master Guide in 2003 and achieved both the Pathfinder Leadership Award (2006) and the Pathfinder Instructor Award (2009).  She also served as a member on the Executive Advisory Committee for the 2014 and 2019 International Pathfinder Camporee, and has been the Camporee Director for the 2007, 2012, and 2016 Columbia Union Pathfinder Camporees.

Though Pam and Michael have no children of their own, they consider all the Adventurers and Pathfinders that have been a part of their lives over the years to be significant members of their “family”.  She enjoys history, cross-stitching, knitting, traveling, doing genealogy research, and loves her baby (cat), Lady Q.  She has also grown to appreciate camping and the world of outdoors.

Pam lives to show young people how AWESOME God truly is and to lead young people to Christ.  Her motto is: “Training future leaders to walk with Christ wherever He is going.”
